Historikern Marie-Louise Rodén tilldelas Axel Hirschs pris fÖr 2009 av Svenska Akademien fÖr sin bok Drottning Christina - en biografi". FÖrutom äran får hon 120 000 kronor. Ett lika stort belopp tilldelas historikern Henrika Tandefelt fÖr boken "Konsten att härska - Gustaf III infÖr sina undersåtar".
